  1. my first posted review is about A Tale Dark & Grimm by Adam Gidwitz and is considered middle-grade fiction. I think many adults will find this one amusing as well. A friendly attempt to return Grimm's tales to form.

  2. Posted my first two books in the challenge: Mistwood by Leah Cypess and The Lost Gate by Orson Scott Card. As usual they are both firmly in the fantasy genre but after that it's hard to narrow down. Mistwood reads more like a fairy tale and The Lost Gate explains why we have fairy tale creatures like trolls and fairies and the like. Both highly enjoyable reads, recommended!

  3. watched Ondine (2009) for the myth/fairy tale. not the best film, but it does have its charm.

  4. the latest is my return to reading something Nicoletta Ceccoli (a favorite of mine) illustrated. Kate Bernheimer's fairy tale, The Girl in the Castle inside the Museum and A Dignity of Dragons: Collective Nouns for Magical Beasts by Jacqueline K. Ogburn. I have yet to fail in reading anything that Ceccoli has illustrated.
